NATIVE PRIDE RULES

Voting

* Fighters will be required to do a "minimum" of 3 self-votes per week. A warning letter will go out the first week a member does not do the required votes. Second week it happens, site will be put on hold for one week. If it happens a third time, site will be disqualified.

* Members of the team are required to be a member of the TWF forum.

* Those that become 3x Champions will be required to do a weekly check in with their team leader
by either posting at the forum in their team news or thru team email in order to stay active at TWF comp while waiting for year end championship.
We would like to see the Champion also cheer and take part in Team activities.
Although this is not required, it is strongly encouraged.

* Voting Times: SUNDAY - THURSDAY
EST: 11:01pm-10:59pm
CST: 10:01pm-9:59pm
PST: 8:01pm-7:59pm

* You can vote for as many sites as you like but only one vote per day per IP address and email address. All duplicate votes will be deleted.

VE Boards

* As of January 1, 2006 there is no limit on the number of boards you may join.

Ballot Stuffing or Multiple Voting

This will be enforced in the following order:

* 1st offense, the fighter will receive a warning from their
Team Leader and/or The Owners and will not advance to the next level.
* 2nd offense, the fighter will be placed on hold and returned to their Team Level.
* 3rd offense, the fighter will be disqualified.

(We understand that some fighters have more than one fighter in the home,
with access to only one PC. So if that applies to you, please give your
team leader your email address and that of the other fighters in the home
so there is no confusion when counting votes.)

Scoring

* Scores are by actual vote counts. What you see is what you received.

Roster Placement

* All team members start out at The Longhouse. The three highest scores at the end of the week will then move up to The Pow Wow.

In The Pow Wow round, the two highest scores at the end of the week will move to The Expedition in the semi-finals. The third highest will remain at The Pow Wow to try again, while all others move back to The Longhouse.

If you do not vote the minimum of 3 days no matter how high your score is, you will not move up a level if you have received a prior warning and have not put in your required votes (See Voting Above).

Advancement in Upper Levels

* In the semi-final rounds, the Expedition, the top 5 vote getters move up, the sixth highest score will remain for a rematch the following week and the rest go back to team level. In the Showdown, the top 3 vote getters will move up to The End of the Trail and the fourth highest score will remain for a rematch.

In the first championship round, The End of the Trail, the top three vote getters move up to the Championship round and fourth highest score stays for a rematch the following week.

* There MUST be a minimum of 3 fighters in every round in the upper levels for that particular round to open, unless there are circumstances beyond our control. If there is not, the round is closed until the next week when someone moves up.

Leave of Absence

* Leave of Absences (LOA's) are allowed at the team level only.

* There will be NO LOA's allowed in the upper levels. (No exceptions). If you need an LOA and are in an upper level you will be moved back to the 1st team level and start there upon returning from LOA. If a fighter is in the 2nd team level and will be advancing to the Semi-Finals and requests an LOA, they will be placed ON HOLD at that level and the 2nd highest scoring fighter will advance to the Semi-Finals.

If a Fighter requests an ELOA (Extended Leave of Absence), they need to keep their Team Leader informed, as to their ELOA Status, and their Intent to Return and a possible return date. If the Fighter, does not keep their TL informed with their Status, within a reasonable time frame, they will be removed from the Team.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email Cherokee Spirit.
